Families are invited to join this nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children. By reading just one book a night, families can reach the 1,000-book goal in three years and provide children essential literacy skills. Pick up a 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten folder at the library to get started, or login and start logging your books online. Special prizes are for those who reach milestones, and complete the program.
